1. Overall Appearance 

Great size, strength, symmetry and commanding appearance, very

muscular but gracefully built.

2. Properties

Great powers, activities, speed and courage.

3. Temperament

Gentle, kind and friendly nature.

4. Head

The head is long, carried high, the frontal bones of the forehead very slightly raised, and very little depression between the eyes. The skull is not very wide. Muzzle long and moderately pointed. Nose and lips black.

5. Eyes 

Dark. Elliptical (regular oval) and full. Eyelids black.

​

6.  Ears

Small, rose-shaped, soft velvet texture. Dark colors are best, not hanging close to the face.

7. Mouth

Jaws strong with a perfect, regular and complete scissor bite, i.e. upper

the teeth closely overlap the lower teeth and are set perpendicular to the jaws. Bite level

tolerated but not desired.

8. Neck

Fairly long, very strong and muscular, well arched, without lobe or

loose skin around the neck.

 

9. Front limbs

Muscular shoulders, giving the width of the chest, obliquely set. Elbows good

under, neither in nor out. Leg and forearm muscular and whole leg

strong and straight.

 

10. The body

Chest very deep. Breasts wide. Back, rather long than short. Arched hips.

Abdomen well developed.

11. Behind

Muscular thighs and forearms, long and strong, good bend of knee

The ankles are well fitted and not turned in or out.

 

12. Feet

Fairly large and round, neither turned in nor out. Toes well arched

and closed. Nails very strong and curved.

 

13. Tail

Long and slightly curved, moderately thick and well covered with fur,

they are carried low with an upward movement towards the limb.

 

14. Walking/moving

Easy and active.

 

15. Fur

Rough and rough on body, legs and head; particularly sinewy and long

eyes and under the jaw.

 

16. Color

Recognized colors are grey, brindle, red, black, pure white, fawn, wheat

and steel gray.

17. Size

Minimum height for dogs: 79 cm (31 inches), bitches: 71 cm (28 inches).

Minimum weight: 54.5 kg (120 lbs) for males, 40.9 kg (90 lbs) for females.

Great size, including height of shoulder and proportional length of body to be aimed at, and it is desirable to firmly establish a breed that will

diameter from 81-86 cm (32-34 inches) in dogs.
